It’s so important to take care of your skin from the inside and the outside. Having lovely skin can make you look healthy, happy and give you that beautiful natural glow.

There are a number of things you should be doing every day and every week to make your skin GLOW! From things you consume, to creams and potions to put on your face here are our top tips for adopting the best skin care regime…

Tip 1 – Drink plenty of water

Staying hydrated is the most important step when it comes to adopting the best skincare regime. Keeping your body well hydrated will ensure the moisture levels in your skin stay at optimum levels, which will stop you getting rough, dry skin. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day to keep your skin hydrated, if you haven’t been doing this you will notice a huge difference!

Tip 2 – Cleanse, tone &moisturize

Cleanse – Every morning and night, be sure to cleanse your skin. Be it with face wipes, foam wash or lotion on cotton its imperative to cleanse your skin of impurities, which cause blemishes and breakouts. Also, not cleaning your skin can cause faster ageing giving you an older appearance!

Tone – After cleansing your skin, make sure you use a good toner. This is to ensure any residue left on your skin from the cleanser is efficiently removed giving you a smooth appearance and soft to touch skin.

Moisturize– Cleansing and toning can sometimes remove the moisture from your skin along with any makeup and impurities. Always use a good quality moisturizer after you have cleansed and toned your skin to add back that moisture giving your skin a firm and youthful look. Un-moisturized, dry skin can lead to premature ageing of the skin so take your moisturizer with you everywhere you go!

Tip 3 – Exfoliate

Exfoliating your skin shouldn’t be done everyday but at least once a week. Why is this? This is because dead skin cells can accumulate on the surface of your face sometimes giving your complexion a slightly dull look. Exfoliating your skin with a natural sea sponge and some exfoliating cream is one of the most effective ways or a specific exfoliating brush or tool for the face. You will remove any rough or dead skin cells giving your skin that glow back.

Tip 4 – You are what you eat

Foods rich in Vitamin C such as oranges, broccoli and sweet potatoes to name but a few contain an abundance of antioxidants which help with skin renewal and they also help in the production of collagen which strengthens the capillaries that supply the skin giving you that radiant glow! Ensure you get your 5 a day to give your skin the health boost it needs every day.

The 4 tips above will ensure you maintain a beautiful, glowing and youthful complexion every day, it’s about what you put onto the surface of your skin and what you put into your body.
