A poor diet

Fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds will ensure you get all the vitamins and minerals your body and skin needs to fight off bacteria, infection and eliminate free radicals.

Not using a moisturizer with an SPF
This is one of the worst habits peoples have when it comes to looking after their skin. Having a moisturizer or daily foundation without and SPF means your skin is exposed to harmful UV rays on a daily basis. Exposure to UV rays can cause premature ageing meaning you will be more susceptible to dry skin, age spots and wrinkles!

Not drinking enough water
Staying well hydrated throughout the day, every day is one of the best things you can do for your skin. Most people get into the habit of not drinking anywhere near enough water and, unknown to them, their skin suffers for this mistake. Make sure you drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, this will keep your skin looking vibrant and fresh and well hydrated. Keeping well hydrated also ensures that your skin stays moisturized and doesn’t become dry so fast. Drinking enough water is also a fantastic anti-aging remedy and healthy hydrated skin means less fine lines and wrinkles.

Not cleaning off your makeup
Do you ever go to bed with makeup on? This is one of the worst things you can do to damage your skin. It might seem like an innocent thing to do but going to bed in a face full of makeup will clog up your pores with impurities and grease meaning you are likely to get breakouts and blemishes. Also, leaving dirt on your skin can speed up the aging process as blocked pores and dryness can bring on premature wrinkles and a dull complexion.

Not using a toner
When you have cleansed your face, it is vital to follow with a toner. Why? A toner will get rid of any remaining residue on your face, which the cleanser may have left behind meaning you have a clean, smooth surface to apply your moisturizer. If you don’t use a toner to clean off any residue, your skin may remain tight or even a little greasy.
